On November 8, 2021, McAfee announced that it had entered into an agreement to be acquired by the Investor Group in a deal worth approximately $14 billion. Pursuant to the merger agreement, McAfee stockholders will receive $26 in cash for each share of McAfee common stock owned. The deal is scheduled to close in the first half of 2022.
