Biohacks strengthens governance structures to realise the company's growth plans

Dusseldorf, 6. May 2022 – Biohacks (Switzerland) AG, a supplier in the high-growth functional foods sector, expands the Board of Directors and appoints as of 1. April 2022 Dr. Eva Gattnar as a new executive member alongside Arno Giovanni Zanetti, who has already served on the Board of Directors of the Biohacks AG since December 2020. Dr. Ingo Lange continues to combine the functions as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of the Biohacks AG.

Dr. Eva Gattnar has already been working for Biohacks in an advisory capacity since 2021 and, in this context, has been instrumental in driving forward the expansion and growth financing of the company together with the company's executive bodies. In this context, the most recent strengthening of the equity base by EUR 3 million within the framework of a capital increase by a renowned international investor should be highlighted.

The filling of these management and administrative board positions, which was completed with the personnel decisions, marks an important step in the necessary professional further development of the structures to meet the planned national and international growth of the company with high-quality vegan products in organic quality and health services.

New top management contributes many years of leadership experience to the company

Dr. Eva Gattnar, (born 1976) has many years of experience in leading positions at international corporations - including Philips and Siemens Healthineers - as well as various university institutions. Most recently, she was co-founder and Managing Director of the consulting firm Pontinova in Dubai. With a doctorate in medical informatics, she also has further expertise in the field of finance through an MBA from HHL Leipzig and EADA Business School Barcelona. She is also a proven expert in biohacking.

Arno Giovanni Zanetti (born 1951) is a qualified auditor and audit expert and has many years of experience in the financial services sector as a former partner at KPMG. Since 2006, he has been a consultant in various industries, a partner in a trust company and on the board of directors of various companies. As Chairman of the Board of Directors of Biohacks (Switzerland) AG together with Dr. Eva Gattnar, he is responsible for developing strategic goals, defining the organisation and designing accounting and controlling.

Dr. Ingo Lange, CFO (born 1973) is a specialist in business development and finance. Among other things, he headed the Corporate Finance division at Lloyd's & Partners Ltd. Previously; Ingo Lange worked in management positions at LGT Bank, Deutsche Bank and UBS as well as a project manager at Roland Berger Strategy Consultants. Since December 2020, he has been CEO and Managing Director of Biohacks (Switzerland) AG.
