ORIX Corporation USA Strengthens Asset Management Client Coverage and Distribution with Senior Hires

ORIX Corporation USA (ORIX USA) today announced two recent senior Investor Solutions hires within its Asset Management business as the firm continues to strengthen distribution capabilities for its integrated private markets product offering. The Investor Solutions teams will continue to work alongside ORIX USA’s investment teams to provide its clients with compelling solutions across its broad middle-market focused private credit, real estate and private equity offerings.

Damon G. Krytzer has joined as Managing Director, Co-Head of Investor Solutions, and with Co-Head Jordan Robinson will oversee client coverage and capital raising for the Asset Management business, working to expand the firm’s network of strategic investment partnerships with institutional investors. Mr. Krytzer joins ORIX USA from Probitas Partners, an independent, global placement advisory firm focusing on alternative investment products, where he was Managing Director and Head of Credit. He is based in Park City, Utah, and reports to Charlie Gilroy, Chief Operating Officer, Asset Management.

In addition, David DeMilt has joined as Managing Director, Investor Solutions, to help grow the team’s business development efforts and increase client and prospect engagement with the asset management platform. Mr. DeMilt joins from Oaktree Capital Management, where he was a Managing Director for Marketing and Client Relations. Mr. DeMilt reports jointly to Mr. Krytzer and Mr. Robinson and is based in the New York office.

ORIX USA recently made several senior appointments within its management team. In November 2022, Mr. Van Hassel was named Senior Managing Director, ORIX USA Group Head of Asset Management, overseeing the execution of the group asset management business strategy and strengthening the integration of product offerings, and was also named to ORIX USA’s Board of Directors. Mr. Van Hassel has been with ORIX USA since early last year and was previously CEO of Robeco, the Rotterdam-based international asset management firm. Robeco is wholly-owned by ORIX Corporation Europe, and holds over EUR 200 billion in assets under management, including EUR 177 billion committed to ESG integration. Additionally, Jeff Abrams, formerly CIO of Asset Management, was promoted to Senior Managing Director, ORIX USA Group Head of Private Credit to oversee the firm’s integrated private credit platform. Mr. Van Hassel and Mr. Abrams were also appointed to ORIX USA’s five-member Executive Committee.
