About Dr. Shica
Growing up in a small town in South Carolina, Dr. Shica Little learned the art of baking from her grandmother and dreamed of having her own bakery someday ever since she got her first Easy Bake Oven. She built a distinguished career in education, obtaining three degrees including a Bachelors in Education, a Masters in Education Leadership, and a Doctorate in Organizational Leadership with a focus in Higher Education. When the pandemic hit in 2020, Dr. Shica was laid off from her corporate job in education services and it was then she decided to lean into her long-time passion for baking and Dr. Shica's bakery was born.

From day one, Dr. Shica had a strong commitment to only using the finest ingredients, having learned from her grandmother early on that the best ingredients make the best desserts. She then recently expanded her offerings to include plant-based counterparts to her traditional creations so that those living a vegan lifestyle can enjoy them, too.
