Labviva, the AI-driven life sciences procurement platform, today announced the appointment of three new executives to drive key functions. Emily Nault joins Labviva as Senior Vice President, Platform Sales and Commerce, Jonathan Sheffi will join Labviva as Vice President, Strategic Marketing and Neal Karasic as Vice President of Product.

Emily Nault brings more than 20 years of experience in marketplace adoption and procurement and will play a critical role in driving the adoption of Labviva’s marketplace platform across the life sciences industry. She was previously Senior Director, Global Sales Strategy at Aldevron (a Danaher Company), and Executive Director, Global Strategic Accounts at Cytiva (a Danaher Company). Prior to Cytiva, she was Director of E-Commerce at Sartorius Stedim Biotech. Ms. Nault also spent over a decade at Genzyme, where she was responsible for global supply chain and supplier contracts and category relationship management. She has an MBA from Simmons School of Management and a BBA in Finance and Operations Management from University of Massachusetts at Amherst Isenberg School of Management.

Jonathan Sheffi will drive Labviva's growth in existing and new market segments as Vice President of Strategic Marketing. He is an expert at product and growth strategy, including market analysis, customer discovery, and product discovery, recently serving as Entrepreneur in Residence at Veeva Systems, a leading provider of cloud applications for the pharma industry, and as the product leader for life sciences at Google Cloud. He holds an MBA from Harvard Business School, an MEng focused in computational molecular biology from MIT, and undergraduate degrees in mathematics & computer science, also from MIT.

Neal Karasic will lead the product team and oversee the development of Labviva’s marketplace platform roadmap and product portfolio. He was most recently the Head of New Market Solutions at Datavant where he led the life sciences medical record retrieval business. Prior to Datavant, Mr. Karasic was Senior Director of Product and Head of Consumer Products at Quotient Technology, and SVP Product & Technology at SavingStar, where he led the engineering, QA, operations, product, and customer service teams. He has also held product leadership roles at Jumptap, GetConnected, Commission Junction and Be Free. He received his undergraduate degree from Harvard University in Electrical, Computer, and Systems Engineering.
