This year's IBF gala took place on Friday, October 20 at the Four Seasons Hotel Chicago (120 E. Delaware Place). Mr. Salvi is a nationally recognized attorney who has been listed as one of the "Best Lawyers in America" since 2005. In 2017, Best Lawyers® named him the Plaintiff's Personal Injury "Lawyer of the Year" in Chicago. He concentrates his legal practice in cases involving serious personal injury, medical malpractice, wrongful death and mass torts. He has achieved numerous record-breaking jury verdicts and settlements on behalf of his clients, including serving as lead counsel on the trial team that won an Illinois record high $148 million jury verdict on behalf of a young woman paralyzed at O'Hare Airport. Under his leadership, Salvi, Schostok & Pritchard has obtained more than $2 billion in verdicts and settlements, including more than 340 cases with recoveries of over $1 million. Mr. Salvi is a former President of the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association. In 2021, he received the Illinois Trial Lawyers' Lifetime Achievement Leonard M. Ring Award.
