Smith Names Thuy Tran Chief Risk Officer

Thuy will guide Smith's Legal department and ensure the company's compliance with all applicable regulations and requirements

In this role, Thuy will oversee the company's worldwide legal, compliance, and audit functions and help identify, assess, and mitigate potential risks to its business operations and financial strategy.

Thuy joined Smith in 2000 as Associate General Counsel and was named to her most recent position of General Counsel in 2008. She earned her bachelor's degree from the University of Houston and received her JD from South Texas College of Law.
