The Diversity Research Institute (DRI) today announced it will honor nearly 50 U.S.-based organizations and CEOs for their commitment to diversity at the 20th Annual National Diversity & Leadership Conference at a dinner hosted by Earvin “Magic” Johnson on April 16 from 7-9 p.m. at the Hilton Anotole in Dallas, TX.

The companies to be honored were selected from the U.S. Fortune 500 Governance Report (2023) published by Diversity First and DRI last year. The report evaluates the executive and board demographics of U.S. Fortune 500 companies. It assesses racial/ethnic and gender demographics of each company according to 2019 U.S. Census Data, providing each company with a score and a ranking. The DRI, in affiliation with Diversity First, lists the companies with the highest scores as Diversity First Top 50 Companies. Those companies with the lowest scores are listed as Least Representative of the United States.
