Family Source Consultants Partners with Worth the Wait Charity to Support Young Adult Cancer Patients & Survivors Pursuing Parenthood

Family Source Consultants will be the "Trophy Sponsor" at Worth the Wait Charity's "Jeep Off Cancer" event on September 29, 2024.

CHICAGO, April 10, 2024 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- This coming September, leading surrogacy agency Family Source Consultants (FSC) will serve as a main sponsor for a fundraising event in support of Worth the Wait Charity. The non-profit organization is dedicated to assisting young adult cancer patients and survivors start their family, many of whom struggle with infertility following treatment. Worth the Wait Charity provides grants to help offset the costs of building families through fertility preservation, adoption, fertility treatments and surrogacy.

FSC will serve as the Trophy Sponsor for Worth the Wait Charity's upcoming event, "Jeep Off Cancer," scheduled for September 29th, 2024. The event promises a unique experience, featuring an obstacle course and competition for Jeep owners, food, music, and kids' activities. All proceeds from Jeep Off Cancer will directly support Worth the Wait Charity's mission of aiding young adult cancer patients and survivors on their journey to parenthood.

Megan and Mike founded Worth the Wait Charity following their own experiences with cancer and infertility at a young age. After surviving his battle with testicular cancer at age 26, Mike and Megan turned to assisted reproduction to help them start their family. Lacking insurance coverage, "We were forced to pay for our fertility treatments out of pocket because insurance covered nothing," Megan said. "We recognize the financial burdens young cancer patients face to create a family and that's why Worth the Wait eases the strain."

Staci Swiderski, CEO and Founder of Family Source Consultants, said she was also excited about the new partnership, and also deeply moved by Worth the Wait Charity's mission given her own personal connection to the cause. After undergoing a partial hysterectomy in 1998 due to suspected uterine cancer, Swiderski and her husband turned to surrogacy to build their family.
