HOUSTON, April 24, 2024 /PRNewswire/ -- OpenStax at Rice University was awarded $90 million from the U.S. National Science Foundation to build and lead SafeInsights, a groundbreaking research and development (R&D) hub for inclusive learning and education research to benefit tens of millions of students and their instructors across all educational levels.

NEW YORK , June 30, 2023 /PRNewswire/ -- The American Council of Learned Societies (ACLS) has been awarded a $355,000 grant from the Arthur Vining Davis Foundations (AVDF). The grant will support a new program, the AVDF/ACLS Fellowships for Research on the Liberal Arts, which will provide funding and data training to up to five scholarly projects on the impact of liberal arts education using the College and Beyond II (CBII) database.
