    On 27 June, the ENVI Committee voted on the draft report on the revision of the Ambient Air Quality Directive.
  • It aims to consolidate and streamline the existing legislation to enable effective action for better air quality, including via better air quality monitoring, modelling and air quality plans.
  • In the draft report, the Rapporteur called for increased ambition, particularly with regard to the full alignment of EU air quality standards with the World Health Organization (WHO) Air Quality Guidelines by 2030.
