Global Wind Organisation names Universal Technical Institute's 7-month Programs first in the U.S. to integrate wind energy training, earns global recognition
PHOENIX, April 9, 2024 /PRNewswire/ -- Universal Technical Institute, the transportation, skilled trades and energy education division of Universal Technical Institute, Inc. today announced that its MIAT College of Technology-Canton (Mich.), UTI-Rancho Cucamonga (Calif.), and UTI-Lisle (Ill.) campuses are the first in the United States to earn Certified Training Center status from the Global Wind Organisation (GWO). GWO's Basic Safety Training certification is now embedded in the three campuses' Wind Turbine Technician programs.
