utiliVisor and NYSERDA are partnering to improve energy efficiency. NYSERDA has just launched its new 25 million dollar incentive program, called RTEM + Tenants, which encourages commercial building owners to implement or service their RTEM systems and increase tenant education about energy conservation measures. Real-time energy management systems use meters, sensors, and controls to determine energy usage by tenant rather than having to cost-average by square footage. The data collected from this submetering process helps owners and tenants detect abnormal energy consumption, faulty equipment, and opportunities for efficiency that reduce their carbon footprint as well as save money--all without sacrificing tenant comfort. utiliVisor is proud to be chosen as a qualified vendor for the RTEM + Tenants program and has been a part of NYSERDA's RTEM initiative since it began in 2016.
