SANTA MONICA, Calif., March 9, 2023 /PRNewswire/ -- The original Sea Dragon ride opened with Pacific Park on May 26, 1996, and after carrying more than 12 million guests, took its last ride via heavy-duty helicopter from Pacific Park on the Santa Monica Pier and landed at the Port of Hueneme in Ventura County into retirement on Thursday, March 9, 2023.
