Compared to one year ago, when incentives were near historic lows, average new-vehicle transaction prices in October were lower by 1.4%, or approximately $670.
Year to date, new-vehicle transaction prices have fallen more than 3.5% as downward price pressure continues to favor buyers in the market.
Still, even with the gains in October, average EV prices are down more than $13,000 year over year.

Hyundai will begin a wage strategy in January 2024 that will result in U.S. production team member hourly wages increasing 25% by 2028.
Production team members in Alabama have achieved their production targets this year, including successful preparations to begin production of the all-new Hyundai Santa Fe in January 2024 (which will be shown at the Los Angeles Auto Show this week) and Genesis Electrified GV70, earlier this year.
