- In 2023, more than 530 anti-LGBTQIA+ bills were introduced in statehouses across the country, including Ohio, according to the Human Rights Campaign (HRC).
- HRC adds that 74 pieces of discriminatory legislation against the LGBTQIA+ community have been signed into law.
